“Rebound” Feature Film

A small town basketball hotshot goes to the big city to make a name for himself, but stardom goes to his head and the pressure drives him to use drugs. He is arrested and serves time in jail where he eventually finds God–and himself. Returning home, he meets a group of aspiring but undisciplined basketball players. Seeing himself in this crew, he is determined that they do not make his same mistakes. Conceived to address the pressing problems of today’s youth, “Rebound” deals with feelings of self-worth, the complexities of parent-child relationships, peer pressure, drugs, pre-marital sex, and the toll they take on young lives. In this full-length evangelistic film for the youth and young adults, “Rebound” provides possible solutions and positive alternatives.
